TOP TABS

Creating Top Tabs on your blog allows the reader to quickly access pages of importance or interest without having to scroll through everything you have on your home blog page.  To do it, follow these steps:

1. After you open your dashboard, go to Pages in the left side menu bar and click on it

2. Click on the word 'create new page' in the pages window

3. Write the page that you want to create.  Make sure to give it a title

4. Click the orange 'Create' button in the upper right next to your name

5. In your dashboard click on 'Layout' in the left menu

6. Look for 'Add a Gadget' and click on it

7. Select the Pages gadget

8. In the Pages gadget, you will see a list of your available pages on the left side.  Tick the box next to whatever pages you want to be a tab.  You can select the order of the page tabs in the middle of the gadget control window.  Just click, hold and drag the page to the position you want

9. Click on the 'Save' button at the bottom of the gadget control window

10. In the Layout window, click  - hold- and drag the Pages gadget that is wherever you created it and drop it into the Cross Column under the Header

11. Click the orange Update button in the upper left next to your name.
